Their price is not cheapest but reasonable one compared to quality. I have been with them for 2 years and found only a few downtimes. They offer a quality support and some delay in reply but overall is acceptable.

Monster are a great hosting company I have been with them for a couple of years now, with mysql backended sites and I have not had any significant outages, ok there has been the odd glitch but I’m a pragmatist and don’t actually believe in the perfect service

Host monster provides high quality hosting services and I have hosted some sites with them for about 2 years now. I have had no problems with them and my sites have always been up. I’ve never noticed a downtime with them

I have had the best web hosting experience with HostMonster. I had earlier been hosting with ipowerweb but their customer support is so bad that I had to move all the accounts I was hosting to hostmonster. They have been really good in terms of support and the cost of their services. I give them a rating of all fives

Richard, I agree with you on the poor customer support being offered by ipower. I once had a billing problem and first tried to get a rep on live chat. I was told the live chat was just for sales. I then tried calling billing. I was on the phone for one hour and couldn’t get through to any billing rep. That was about a year ago and I have since switched to HostMonster. A friend had recommended them to me.

I’m using Hostmonster and all I can say their reliable is awesome!! However, they are not as that cheap and customer support sometimes delayed in reply my email, but the rest are still good.

Not the cheapest of hosts, but you get what you pay for. The customer service is first class. When I had a problem setting up my DNS I simply called the 24-hour toll free phone number and they helped me sort it out over the phone. I was really impressed with how helpful they were.

Out of all the hosting providers I have used over the years I can now safely say I have found one that I am happy with. My not very technical, so having a company that is willing to help you out over the phone is sadly not seen very often online.

Hostmonster is great. It comes with cPanel which is the best control panel available on the market. The pricing is great. The few times that I have contacted customer support regarding a few questions I have had, they have always answered promptly and kept a professional manner. I would recommend them to anyone.

i have no idea how companies like hostmonster stay in business. from the looks of the prior reviews this month, it looks like hostmonster is cleaning house and getting rid of all accounts that are not generating money for them. well guess what? you shouldn’t be advertising the world if you can’t live up to them. they shut our site down this morning (without any prior warning) because of the apparently now standard “sql call” excuse. hostmonster’s name is now TRASH in my book and i will tell everybody far and wide what a ethically challenged “business” they run.

Hostmonster has a lot of great features as it name – Monster! Their uptime is good but not best yet. From my experiences, Inmotion and Lunarpages does a better job in terms of uptime, but still a great hosting choice.

Well well well…see many peoples here has a lot of praise to Hostmonster. One of my site hosted with them and a bit downtime occured. Not a big time but they should not let this happen! They do guarantee their uptime for 99.9%, don’t they?

I had a friend who had few sites with hostmonster and except for delayed customer support issues , he was perfectly happy with them. But with some better options outthere I am not sure if he will be continuing with them. The features I like they had was support for custom php.ini files. It has been great to have that feature since we can try many different things on server as we do on local host.

I have used Hostmonster a number of times but each time I stitched over to another hosting company. Whenever I had a problem with my hosting package, the customer service center was very slow to respond. They are also certainly not the cheapest hosts around.

I only used hostmonster very briefly, before I didn’t like all these overselling hosts, but I found them to be pretty acceptable, their prices are a little steep for what they are offering, but other than that they’d been pretty good. Only niggle I had was that the support seemed sluggish and surly.

Know many people that have hosted with this company. They seem to be pretty reliable, and value is pretty good. I have yet to change from my current host because of the fact that they are local. If these guys where local where they were accessible 24 hours a day I would consider changing to them.

I used these folks just once for a site I was developing. I got a real spike in traffic when an article that I wrote went viral and was posted all over the social bookmark sites. All of a sudden, I started having huge problems with the site not being accessible. Support responses were very slow in coming and mostly unrelated to my questions. It took four days to solve the problem and by then I had missed most of that lovely traffic.

Host Monster have been one of the best hosting companies I have ever used. My sites have been always up and I have never experienced any downtime while with them. I always get quick response to my questions too. I find the fact that they offer a lot of unlimited features like diskspace and bandwidth really great. For the services they offer I think the price they charge is ok.

” STAY AWAY FROM HOSTMONSTER. I’ve never seen a worst people like them, as soon as you start getting any real traffic, your site will be shut down. My site was SHUT DOWN WITHOUT ANY PRIOR WARNING, and no explanation was given. My site was down for 48 hours, costing me money. In addition my hosting fees were not refunded. They really a Hosting Monster…indeed!!! “

i am working with them from 2 to 3 years they are great but last month i send many many many email to the supports i want to renew with there new discount but no reply at all
when i tried to renew they will chagre me 6.95$ in the same time in there web site offering 4.95$

I have done & read many reviews for Web Hosting companies but none matches the service quality of this firm. They are professionally different in every field.
The SHUTDOWN PROBLEM still is a challenge. My friend’s site remained closed for 36 hours without any reason being specified by these people. The technical staff should be enhanced.

So far, this has been pretty good. However, I’m still a littly hesitant about the whole “unlimited” thing. Firstly, it’s impossible, but moreover, for $5.95/month, obviously this isn’t very good business when a person getting a million pageviews a month comes along. So what happens then? There must be a cutoff, and I’d rather just know where then to be told “unlimited.”

Users can now have unlimited domains support and setup, 300 gigs of storage, a free domain name at signup, and a special installation application called “Fantastico”, which allows you to create forums, blogs, photo galleries, e-commerce applications and even your own auction site easily. I had a little trouble with the documentation involved, since you can do so much, but any website amateur should be alright. I wouldn’t suggest this for newbies though. This service is best if you plan on having a website with a whole lot of features, and even then, you’d want to quickly upgrade to handle unusual traffic spurts. 🙂

Host Monster web hosting are a decent web hosting company. Now I don’t want to be too rude here, but their customer support is really something that I hope I’ll never get to experience again in my life. They just suck, and that’s the best I can say about them. Can’t remember if they were ever actually good at it. Nothing spectacular, but the company gets an overall rating of 4.

The only issue that I have with HostMonster is their customer support team. They are somewhat slow to respond to my questions but other then that they are really an awesome hosting company. I currently host nearly 200 of my sites with them and I hardly ever have any big problems with them.

They do have a good price and a good package, but I found that my site went down quite often. I did manage to get through to the CS without having to wage war and get my site back up within a short while though. I do recommend them, but they need to work on their sites not going down.

I quit the same day my site was taken down with no explanation, no notice, and no reason. Any company that kills your site and doesn’t tell you why is simply not worth your time. Do it once, you don’t do it a second time.

I like how I can use just about anything on their servers. Some companies don’t let you use certain features, even though their servers are capable of using them. Not this company.
