WebHostingPad vs. Yahoo!

WebHostingPad vs. Yahoo

Yahoo! is known as one of the industry’s leading search engine. The statistics, reports, and help they provide to other websites in order to get noticed has not gone unnoticed. It didn’t take long for the folks at Yahoo! to realize that not only could they help websites get noticed by search engines, but Yahoo! could also provide web hosting services as part of its regular offerings. Their Yahoo! Small Business Web Hosting has taken off and has earned the respect of the web hosting industry as well.

Disclosure: We are a professional review site that receives compensation from the companies whose products we review. We test each product thoroughly and give high marks to only the very best. We are independently owned and the opinions expressed here are our own.

It also didn’t take long for WebHostingPad to gain the respect that placed them in the top echelon of web hosting, either. This company was founded in 2005, and in less than five years have thrust themselves to the top with their award-winning hosting service.

Which one should you choose for your small business or personal website? We have reviewed both web hosts and provided a comparison and recommendation to help you decide. Read on.

Pricing

When it comes to pricing, WebHostingPad just can’t be beat. If you can stand paying 5 years in advance, you’ll get the industry’s lowest price of just $1.99 per month. Even their 12-month plan is less than $4 a month.

Yahoo! has a single hosting plan as well that sells for $7.46 per month for the first 3 months, then $9.99 thereafter.

Products and Services

Don’t think that these companies stop at just hosting services. Yahoo! has plenty of extra products and services to help their hosting clients, such as site building tools, tracking and website visitation reports, as well as other paid site building, marketing, and promotional services.

WebHostingPad is ready to serve their hosting customers with a free site builder as well, and paid website designers on staff. They provide lots of promotional credits to use with major search engines (even Yahoo!) and social media sites. There are no hidden fees, and they will provide a 99.9% uptime guarantee and 30-day money back guarantee.

Web Hosting Features

What do you get for the monthly cost? Both offer unlimited disk space and bandwidth. Additional “unlimiteds” from WebHostingPad include unlimited email, hosted domains, and MySQL databases. Yahoo! has limited, but generous, amounts of each.

Both companies offer support for multi-media, script installation, and e-commerce solutions.

Customer Service

You can bet that these reputable hosting companies are going to try to keep their reputation strong with their customer support team. Both teams offer 24 hour phone and email support as well as an outstanding online self-help center filled with articles, tutorials, and answers to questions.

As well, WebHostingPad also provides 24 hour live support via chat and Skype.

Recommendations

Yahoo! has been a strong competitor in any business segment they join. Web hosting included. However, the plan offered by WebHostingPad is a stronger plan with more features, a comparable world-class tech center, and superior customer support. WebHostingpad gets our recommendation for your small business website.

GoDaddy is the worst web host ever!!…

Everything worked fine until I signed with GoDaddy. Since then it has been impossible to edit and update my website. I’ve tried to contact them in every possible way but no reply. It’s even impossible to access their own website now! What should I do about that?
