AwardSpace offers one free hosting plan, and three subscriber hosted plans for just $2.99/mo, $4.57/mo, and $5.83/mo respectively.
Products and Services
JustHost focuses more on their single hosting plan without the distractions of extra products and services. They do offer a generous amount of free marketing credits with each account. In addition, they provide a 99.9% uptime guarantee and an anytime money back guarantee.
AwardSpace does offer extra products and services helpful to small business such as domain registration, VPS hosting plans, SSL certificates for eCommerce, a free site builder, and even SEO and SMO help with search engines and social media.
Web Hosting Features
The JustHost plan comes packed with unlimited features like bandwidth, disk space, email account, hosted domains, and MySQL databases. They offer support for popular scripting and free 3rd party plugins like bulletin boards and WordPress blog. Multi-media files are supported, and JustHost offers a choice of shopping carts along with other free eCommerce solutions. And all accounts are controlled with cPanel control panel, the best in the industry.
All paid plans with Awardspace come with unlimited storage and data transfer. Only the top two plans come with unlimited emails, and only the top plan offers unlimited hosted domains. AwardSpace offers support for a good number of scripting languages, and also offers popular plugins like blog software and image galleries.
Customer Service
JustHost offers 24 hour support, but the company is unclear whether telephone support is available 24 hours. They do, however, offer a very nice and user-friendly online help center with articles and video tutorials.
AwardSpace does not offer telephone support. And the only “24 hour” support available is through FAQ’s or via a trouble ticket system.
Recommendations
These two companies offer very reasonable hosting plans for almost any personal or business website. However, with more to offer via customer support and an all-inclusive plan, we recommend using JustHost for your website hosting needs.
