IX Web Hosting VS WebFusion (US)
IX Web Hosting is a well established web hosting company that has plenty of web hosting experience, having been in business since 1999. Web Fusion (US) is also a formidable competitor in the web hosting industry, having been in business since 1997, serving over 1.5 million websites. While Web Fusion (US) has more experience, both of these companies are suitable web hosting providers, and each one specializes in different web hosting markets.

To find out which one is right for you, take a look at the following hosting comparison.
IX Web Hosting offers three main hosting plans; Business Plus, Unlimited Pro, and Expert. Of these three plans, Expert is the cheapest at only $3.95 per month. Both the Business Plus and the Unlimited Pro plans are currently priced at $7.95 per month.
Web Fusion (US) also offers three web hosting plans; Newbie, Techie, and Guru. The cheapest plan offered by Web Fusion is the Newbie plan which only costs $2.99 per month, followed by the Techie plan at $6.99 per month, and the Guru plan at $14.99 per month. When it comes to affordability, Web Fusion (US) is the winner, however the unlimited features offered by IX Web Hosting seem to offer more value than Web Fusion (US).
Products and Services
IX Web Hosting offers a variety of solutions that can accommodate various hosting needs. There Unlimited Pro plan is their most impressive, including unlimited bandwidth, unlimited server space, three free domain name registrations, and $150 worth of ad coupons. The business plan also includes a plethora of unlimited features including unlimited sub domains and data transfer, with $125 worth of ad coupons. IX Web Hosting also offers VPS services starting at $29.95 per month, and SSL certificates for $49.95 per year.
WebFusion (US) offers a smaller selection of products and services, with only three hosting plans. Their premiere hosting plan is the Guru plan, which at $14.99 per month offers 400GB web space, and 99 cent domain names. When the services of both companies are compared, IX Web Hosting Appears to offer more variety, and the unlimited nature of their plans is not seen in any of the WebFusion (US) plans.
Web Hosting Features
As mentioned above, the features of the IX Web Hosting plans are practically unlimited, with the only difference between plans being the amount of features that are unlimited. Even the cheapest plan (Expert Plan) comes with a free domain name registration, unlimited disk storage, unlimited data transfer, and two dedicated IP addresses at only $3.95 per month. All of IX Web Hosting’s plans include free support and free ad coupons, as well as a comprehensive simplified control panel. Unfortunately WebFusion (US) does not carry a single plan that has unlimited features, as even their most expensive plan (Guru Plan) has a disk space limit of 400 GB, and a data transfer limit of 5000 GB. Since their plans lack unlimited features, it appears IX Web Hosting has them beat in this department.
Both companies offer free support available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Both companies also offer the types of support; phone support, email support, and live chat support. Web Hosting IX has more employees than WebFusion (US), which may contribute to faster and more reliable support. Other than this, both companies appear to have similar support features.
After reviewing both web hosting companies, our recommendation goes to IX Web Hosting. When considering price, WebFusion (US) may have a lower price for their cheapest plan, but the features offered leave much to be desired. IX Web Hosting offers unlimited features on all of their plans, and even the cheapest plan offers more unlimited features than WebFusion’s most expensive plan. For this reason there is no doubt that IX Web Hosting is a better option when compared to WebFusion in terms of overall quality and affordability.
