JustHost VS Web.com
New web hosting companies pop up every year. And one host that is still new to the hosting industry is JustHost. But since 2008 JustHost has made a very positive mark and developed a good reputation. They offer a single hosting plan that is packed with features.
Compared to JustHost, Web.com is a veteran in the hosting industry starting their brand of service around the turn of the century. For a decade they have provided solid hosting plans for small businesses with all the extras.

Which of these reputable hosting companies is right for the general consumer? We take a side-by-side look at specific plan and company details and offer our recommendation below.
JustHost makes it easy for customers with a single hosting plan for just $4.45 per month.
Web.com offers both Linux and Windows hosting plans for $11.95 per month. Their three levels of eCommerce hosting plans run $19.95/mo, $59.95/mo, and $99.95/mo.
Products and Services
Web.com is geared for the business consumer and offers a list of extra features to help online businesses succeed. Their extra products include professional website design, online marketing services, site and marketing reporting and stats, and other professional web services.
JustHost keeps it simple for their clients. Rather than offering a lot of extra paid services, they pack plenty of extra free features in their plan including over $200 worth of free marketing credits to Google, Yahoo!, MySpace, and Facebook, clients get a free site builder, and an industry leading anytime money back guarantee.
Web Hosting Features
Web.com offers basic Linux and Windows hosting with unlimited web storage, bandwidth, MySQL databases and hosted domains. They provide plenty of email storage, and support for developer languages. The Windows plan also gets support for Microsoft.net, MS SQL, and ASP.NET.
The Web.com eCommerce plans and more expensive, but that’s because they come ready with free shopping carts for 20 products for the Express up to unlimited products with the eCommerce “Pro” plan. They also come with email autoresponders, SSL certs (dedicates SSL with the “Pro” plan), and options for payment processing all ready to go.
JustHost is ready to help their clients 24 hours a day via telephone, email, and online chat. They provide a helpful online knowledgebase filled with video tutorials and articles.
Web.com can be contacted via email or phone, but hours are not provided. They do offer a limited number of articles on their resources site, but hardly enough to call it an online help center.
Certainly if you are looking to open an online business and start selling hundreds of products online right away, Web.com is the place to go. But in our opinion, JustHost has it all for the general consumer with their all-inclusive plan, ready-to-go eCommerce features, and superb 24 hour customer support. Our recommendation goes to JustHost.com.
